Key Duties and Responsibilities

Equipment and Setup

Prepare materials, solutions, and equipment for upcoming lessons and experiments. Sterilize and calibrate equipment as needed.

Assisting Students and Teachers

Help with hands-on activities, provide guidance on experimental methods, and supervise students to ensure they follow safety guidelines.

Safety and Maintenance

Ensure the lab is a safe environment by enforcing safety rules. Clean and sanitize lab equipment, glassware, and workstations, and properly dispose of waste.

Inventory and Supplies

Monitor stock levels, keep inventory records, and reorder supplies when necessary to avoid interruptions in experiments.

Record Keeping

Document experiment procedures, results, and observations. Transfer data and maintain lab records and any required paperwork.

General Tasks

Perform administrative duties such as answering phones, filing reports, and organizing lab storage. Assist with other tasks as needed by teachers or the school administration.
