OD Facility for APPSC Departmental Examinations

In accordance with FR 9(6) subclause (b)(iii) of the Fundamental Rules, an on-duty facility is required to attend departmental tests administered by APPSC. As is well known, all governments must participate in department tests in order to be considered for promotions or to receive AAS and other advantages. We should point out that since departmental tests are now administered at district headquarters and only take a few hours to complete, only the day of the test can be considered a period of service. In order to obtain permission to use the OD facility on the day of the exam, the concerned candidate must submit an application to the leave-sanctioning authority along with a Xerox copy of their hall ticket.
