📋 Application Overview

To apply for the NMMS scholarship online, eligible Class 8 students must register and submit their applications through the National Scholarship Portal (NSP). Note that while the application is submitted online, the NMMS exam is conducted by individual state education boards, and the final list of awardees is based on state-level merit.

🎯 Two Main Stages:

1. Student Examination Application

Submit application for state-level NMMS selection test

2. Scholarship Application on NSP

Apply for scholarship after exam qualification

Class 8 student in government, government-aided, or local body school

✓

Annual family income not exceeding ₹3.5 lakh

✓

Minimum 55% in Class 7 final exam (50% for SC/ST)

✗

Not from KV, JNV, or residential private schools
